AOC Blames Biden for Democrats’ Current Political Woes

The Democrat Party has a lot of problems ahead of them.

Under Democratic leadership, inflation is out of hand. Americans are paying historically high prices for gas and the president is already warning that shortages in food are coming.

Trouble for Democrats has been brewing for quite some time. Last year, Democrats lost the Virginia gubernatorial election, despite holding control of the state for more than one decade.

Also, in 2021, many Americans fled blue states with Democratic governors and legislatures for Republican governors and conservative legislatures.

With the midterms coming up, one survey after the next shows that Democrats are on a fast track to losing. In light of this, House Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is laying the blame at Biden’s feet, according to Red State.

AOC on Biden’s Role in Democrats’ Problems

Ocasio-Cortez spoke with the New York Post a few days ago; while doing so, she didn’t hold back in explaining why she thinks Biden is responsible for Democrats’ problems.

The New York congresswoman made it a point of claiming that Biden’s approach of wanting Sen. Joe Manchin to be on board with legislation is wrong.

Yet, in a Senate that is divided between 50 Republicans and 50 Democrats, if Manchin is not on board with Democrats’ legislation, then it doesn’t get passed.

Later, Ocasio-Cortez blamed the president for not delivering for young Americans who voted Democratic. According to the congresswoman, young Democratic voters don’t feel “seen” and it’s going to impact voter turnout levels for left-wing candidates in November.

What’s Really to Blame for Democrats’ Problems?

There’s no denying that many young Democrats have been putting pressure on Biden to fulfill his commitment to end student loan debt. However, this is far from what’s really holding Democrats back.

The real problem for the Democrat Party is that life for Americans has gotten worse ever since Democrats took control of the federal government.

In California today, the rates of gas are steadily coming up to $10.00 per gallon. Meanwhile, inflation is hitting every industry across the United States.

That’s not to mention the documented crime increases, upticks in illegal immigration, and more. If the Democrat Party was truly serious about digging themselves out of their current hole, they’d be seriously revamping their policies.

This is not something Democrats are going to do, though. The left is going to keep running with the narrative that going even further to the left is the party’s solution.

This is one of many reasons why Republican candidates are going to dominate the midterm elections in November.
