The Biden administration is doing everything it thinks is possible to ram more authoritarian, government control down the throats of the American people. We’ve seen this with the COVID vaccine mandates; these mandates are now forcing Americans out of businesses that desperately need their services.
On top of this, the Biden administration is working to give the IRS access to oversee virtually every single bank account held by Americans. First, Biden set a threshold for the IRS to get reports of transactions reaching $600+.
Then, after facing justifiable backlash, Biden changed the threshold to reports for accounts that collectively have $10,000 in transactions over the course of one year. Needless to say, neither of these proposals are going over very well, as Breitbart News makes note of.
A Power Grab by the Government
Changing the metric from $600 to $10,000 in yearly transactions doesn’t make this proposal from the president any less intrusive. It poses threats to individuals’ privacy rights; furthermore, the Biden administration is lying to America, claiming this proposal is about finding ultra-wealthy tax cheats.
He supposedly is trying to shake down billionaires and fight fraud, but he wants to go after middle class bank accounts and small businesses? He’s lying. The entire administration is lying. And they know they’re lying. (2/6)

Many Americans who are far from wealthy have more than $10,000 running through their bank accounts on an annual basis. The Biden administration knows it, too. They just want to fish for more money to pay for obscene spending bills they’ve falsely claimed won’t run up the national deficit.
Republicans aren’t having it. GOP members at the federal and state levels are vowing to push back against this. Florida’s Chief Financial Officer Jimmy Patronis stated if Biden’s IRS proposal goes into law, the Sunshine State won’t comply and will instead fight it in a court of law.
This proposal is the biggest shakedown of the middle class that’s ever been publicly aired as a policy idea. To think that ole Joe from Scranton thinks going to war with the middle class is smart is really telling of what the elite on Capitol Hill think they can get away w/ (4/6)

Republican lawmakers Ashley Hinson and Cynthia Lummis informed Breitbart News of their ongoing work to block the IRS from snooping on Americans. Both lawmakers also described this as an invasion of Americans’ privacy rights.
Stopping This Proposal from Becoming Law
Stopping Biden’s invasive proposal from ever seeing the light of day is very simple. What needs to happen is for all 50 Republicans in the Senate, along with Democrat moderate Sens. Joe Manchin and Kyrsten Sinema, to refuse to vote for any bill with this proposal.
With 52 senators opposed to any bill with an IRS surveillance initiative, it won’t make it to Biden’s desk for him to sign into law. It is imperative for our nation’s lawmakers to refuse to allow such an overreach of power and invasion of privacy to become law.
Until then we’ll keep fighting, and fighting, until this Orwell-like packet of garbage is sent back to the bottom drawer of some bureaucrat’s basement at the U.S. Treasury – where it belongs. (6/6) https://t.co/KiUJ5y0KYs

This proposal is nothing more than a power grab from the radical wing of the Democrat Party. Now, the time has come for Republicans lawmakers and moderate Democrat lawmakers to shut this down accordingly.
