Democratic Special Interest Groups Plan Heavy Spending Ahead of Midterms

With the midterm elections being now five months away, Democrats are in a terrible position.

Their party is bogged down by a president with horrendous approval ratings, both at the state level and nationally.

On top of that, Democrats control the federal government; yet, they haven’t been able to fix supply chain crises, inflation, unaffordable gas prices, and other issues.

Polling shows that Republicans have some major wins to look forward to in November. However, with virtually 20 weeks left, Democrats are trying to turn things around for the party.

According to Fox News, this will involve major spending from left-wing special interest groups.

An Avalanche of New Political Ads

The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) has $214 million set aside to spend just on TV ads alone.

The committee’s executive director already publicly stated the House of Representatives needs to remain under the Democrats’ control in order to prevent so-called extremist GOP members.

DCCC ads will be targeted to battleground communities across the United States. These communities encompass Phoenix, Arizona, Las Vegas, Nevada, Minneapolis, Minnesota, along with Pittsburgh and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

However, Democrats won’t be the only ones campaigning hard. Republicans are also working to win in vital districts that will determine the majority in the House after November.

In a public statement of its own, the National Republican Campaign Committee (NRCC) put the DCCC on blast.

According to the NRCC, Democrats are stuck doing damage control after their policies created distressing crime and immigration problems, along with staggering consumer costs.

The Worst Factors Working Against Democrats

The DCCC can spend as much money as it likes on ads in Nevada, Arizona, Minnesota, and Pennsylvania. However, Americans across the country are still waking up to high prices they can’t afford.

Inflation has gotten to be such a problem that people have been putting off their retirement pursuits. On top of this, Biden just got done telling the country that no one should expect the rates of gas and food to drop anytime soon.

All of this will have fundamental impacts on Democratic candidates who are either trying to get elected or re-elected.

Republicans, on the other hand, are petitioning voters, laying out a vision of what people can expect if the GOP regains control of Congress.

If the polls are any indication, what the Republican Party is communicating to everyday Americans with their backs against the walls is resonating.

Democrats have faulted Republicans for the current issues facing the nation; yet, each of these issues is happening as Democrats (not the GOP) enjoy majorities in Congress, along with control of the White House.
