The state of Florida has been getting a lot of attention over the past two years.
Thanks to the leadership of GOP Governor Ron DeSantis, Florida’s economy has been doing very well, much better than other states that went all in on locking people down.
The Florida governor’s oversight in the state has also drawn in more and more residents. With these new residents, Florida’s number of registered Republican voters has increased so much that it now outnumbers Democrats in the state.
At this time, DeSantis is up for re-election. He is also comfortably ahead of every single Democrat in the polls who wants to oust him.
As it turns out, one of those Democrats is Florida agriculture commissioner Nikki Fried. Days ago, Fried came under fire for a bizarre tweet mentioning a sex tape, as documented by Twitchy.
The Tweet Nobody Asked For
On Friday, Fried posted on her Twitter account that “no sex tape” of her exists.
The Florida agriculture commissioner then went on to apologize for women of successful statures having to deal with “these rumors.”
However, Fried’s tweet confused a lot of people. Up until her Friday post, there was absolutely no mention of any sort of sex tape involving the Florida agriculture commissioner.

The responses to this post were clearly not what Fried thought they would be.
Some people accused the Florida Democrat of intentionally stirring up false rumors in order to get publicity and boost her gubernatorial campaign.
Since Friday, various memes have come out that more or less accuse Fried of seeking attention and not actually shutting down an ongoing rumor.
More Odd Social Media Posts From Fried
Believe it or not, Fried’s Friday tweet about a so-called sex tape isn’t the first time she’s posted things that appear to be removed from reality.
The Florida agriculture commissioner has also claimed that Florida is a “blue state,” despite the state’s governorship and legislature being controlled by the GOP, along with the GOP now having more registered voters.

Various social media posts from Fried have also declared that she’s going to “defeat” DeSantis. Meanwhile, the Florida governor is not only ahead of her in the polls, but he’s also got a $100 million war chest in his arsenal.
This is more money than any other gubernatorial contender has raised before.
Despite the increasingly bizarre social media posts from the Florida agriculture commissioner, her chances of winning the governorship are practically below zero.
