The state of California has real problems. From the drug crisis to unaffordable living costs, homelessness, and crime, California needs leaders who can take on these challenges and improve the community.
Unfortunately, Gov. Gavin Newsom has other priorities.
When the California governor isn’t attacking Republicans, he’s traveling to red states in the hopes of turning them blue. Newsom has likewise developed a unique fixation on Florida, demanding debates with Gov. Ron DeSantis.
Now, Newsom is setting his sights on forcing schools to be more woke, as documented by Breitbart News.
Zeroing In on School Districts
Right now, the California governor is moving to bring fines against school districts that won’t adopt LGBTQ curricula. Newsom thinks the failure to do this is wrong and he’s particularly zeroed in on the Temecula school board.
This school board in question is working to steer clear of a book because of its mention of gay man Harvey Milk. Recently, Newsom announced that dodging this is ignorant and wrong, vowing to take action accordingly.
Did the book mention how Milk raped drug-addled boys, leading to multiple suicide attempts, at least one successful?

What the California governor failed to mention, however, is the fact that Milk was a rapist who sexually assaulted various boys and drove them to suicide.
Perhaps this isn’t someone that young kids should be learning about or looking up to when they go to school.
Bigger Fish to Fry
Instead of trying to bully the Temecula school board, the California governor should instead focus on reforming his state and fixing its problems.
Newsom has repeatedly said that he cares about issues like crime and homelessness. Yet, his actions and chosen areas of focus tell a very different story.

Gavin Newsom claims homelessness is his number one priority, yet we see so many Democrat run cities look like this..

The California governor would also do well to learn more about Harvey Milk. Maybe then, he’d understand what Milk was really all about and why the Temecula school board doesn’t want to parade Milk in front of kids.
