Former Vice President Mike Pence opposed Donald Trump’s 2024 presidential election campaign.
Trump announced to run for the White House again, but Pence noted the Republican Party would have better candidates; so he is not supporting Trump’s presidential bid this time.
Pence Opposed 2024 Presidential Run of Trump
During the interview with Bret Baier, Pence acknowledged that he achieved a lot of things while working under Trump’s presidency.
According to Pence, he and Trump rebuilt the American military, secured the southern border, strengthened America’s energy infrastructure, and appointed a number of conservative judges all across the United States.
Furthermore, Pence asserted he has traveled across America and people want the revival of Trump’s policies. However, Pence continued, most people now want to see political leadership which can unite Americans and demonstrates the social values that are observed by Americans daily.
When Baier asked Pence if he would vote for Trump in 2024, the former vice president noted the country would have much better choices in the next presidential elections.
Additionally, Pence noted the country needs a leader who can respect every American, while implementing all the policies of the Trump-Pence administration at the same time.

Pence Took Aim at Trump in His New Book
In a separate interview with ABC News’s David Muir, Pence revealed he is still considering whether or not he will run for the presidency in 2024. Muir asked Pence if he could defeat Trump in the Republican primaries.
Responding to this, Pence stated voters need to decide whether he is capable of defeating Trump.
Pence is still not announcing his presidential campaign, even though most political insiders believe he is one of the prominent Republicans to run for the White House in 2024. Whenever Pence starts his campaign, he is expected to face fierce criticism from Trump, who frequently takes aim at his political rivals.
On the same day Donald Trump announced he was running for president again, two of his biggest enablers – daughter Ivanka and former deputy Mike Pence – distanced themselves from Trump. Tried to rebrand themselves.

As America is entering a new era, Pence claimed people are also demanding new leadership in the country.
Since leaving the vice presidency, Pence has lashed out at Trump numerous times. In his new book, Pence chided Trump for various reasons and is expected to receive backlash from the former president.
As per Pence, he asked Trump to deliver a farewell address to Americans after the January 6 attacks, but Trump did not listen to him at all.
Trump’s reckless actions, Pence continued, endangered everyone on Capitol Hill. However, Pence established that he did not want to leave Capitol Hill during the January 6 attacks, as it would have satisfied the protesters that the vice president was no longer certifying the election results.
Pence also claimed that he would not scrutinize Trump on January 6 attacks.
Apart from Pence, Trump’s own daughter, Ivanka Trump, also decided not to be a part of her father’s 2024 presidential campaign. This article appeared in Right Wing Insider and has been published here with permission.
