The National Rifle Association (NRA) has been in the crosshairs of leftists for quite some time.
In light of the Democrat Party’s agenda to outlaw gun ownership and dismantle the Second Amendment altogether, they’re not too keen on an organization that stands up for gun ownership, gun rights, and the Second Amendment.
Whenever a mass shooting breaks out, Democrats always blame the NRA. Leftists have even gone as far as openly verbalizing their interest in seeing the NRA abolished; although, so far, the organization is still standing.
As a matter of fact, the National Rifle Association just scored a major legal victory against left-wing New York Attorney General Letitia James, as Breitbart News covers.
Another Win for the NRA
In 2020, James filed a lawsuit against the NRA, alleging the organization should be dissolved on the basis of alleged fraud and greed. However, what the New York attorney general really wanted to do was gut the gun rights movement.
This week, New York State Court Justice Joel Cohen ruined James’ master plan. Judge Cohen ruled the New York attorney general’s unhappiness with the NRA’s internal affairs doesn’t warrant a “corporate death penalty.”

In response to this, James put out a public statement. In this statement, she articulated her “disappointment” that the New York state court isn’t allowing her to pursue a political vendetta against the NRA.
Finally, the New York attorney general confirmed that she’s taking a look at the various legal pathways that exist before her in light of this ruling.
Good News for the Second Amendment
If Letitia James had gotten her way and managed to successfully take down the NRA, there’s no telling what the gun control crowd would try next.
Now, more than ever, it’s imperative for Americans to hold the line and defend the right to bear arms. If anything, gun ownership is more critical than it’s ever been, especially in light of the ongoing crime wave triggered by left-wing, soft-on-crime reforms.

The NRA is a vital ally to the Second Amendment, as are other guns rights groups, such as the Gun Owners of America. Democrats’ work to target various pro-gun organizations is rooted in them sensing the failure of the anti-gun agenda.
As the rates of gun ownership increase, so will the left’s difficulties with trying to make everyone give up their firearms and trust the government to take care of them.
Time and time again, history has shown that terrible things happen once populations are disarmed and defenseless.
