The Russian regime is literally on a warpath. For months, at this point, it’s been trying to completely take over Ukraine.
However, Russian President Vladimir Putin severely underestimated the fighting spirit of Ukrainians. He thought the nation would fall to Russian troops in a matter of days; however, this turned out not to be the case.
Thanks to Putin’s war, nations like Finland and Sweden have opted to join NATO. Furthermore, the Russian regime is being slammed with a series of sanctions as businesses cut off their work with the nation altogether.
Now, here in the United States, Joe Biden is being called upon to place Russia on the State Sponsors of Terrorism list, according to Washington Examiner.
Holding Russia Accountable
Russia’s been getting increasingly belligerent since its war in Ukraine started.
The regime continues to wage threats against Finland and Sweden for daring to join NATO. This is ironically something that Putin set into motion by starting his onslaught against Ukraine.
On top of this, the Russian despot is threatening the United States and other western countries with war, due to them assisting Ukraine.
Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, during his trip to Finland, calls on President Biden to designate Russia a state sponsor of terrorism:

During a recent conversation with reporters, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell stated Biden ought to add Russia to the list of the State Sponsors of Terrorism.
McConnell also noted this is a measure Biden can take unilaterally, without congressional approval.
Secretary of State Antony Blinken has likewise been called to place Russia on this list as well. GOP Sens. Rand Paul and Lindsey Graham recently drew up a resolution that pressed for Blinken to formally include Russia as a State Sponsor of Terrorism.
Rumors of a Putin Overthrow
Thanks to all the sanctions and penalties being imposed upon the Russian government, many elites and billionaires in the nation are blocked from their wealth and from making certain overseas visits.
This isn’t sitting well with them.

Meanwhile, Putin has absolutely no intentions of voluntarily ending this war he’s started in Ukraine. Time will tell just how much longer this drags out and whether or not Putin does end up being tossed out of power in Russia.
