Since the overthrow of Roe v. Wade in late June, social unrest has surged to new heights.
Pro-choice supporters are taking to the streets to express their outrage with this decision; although, demonstrations have gone much further than just constitutionally-protected protests.
In addition to this, some of the more radical pro-choice supporters began leaking the residence addresses of conservative Supreme Court justices who ultimately voted against Roe v. Wade.
Some protesters likewise caused scenes outside of conservative justices’ homes and confronted them face-to-face in restaurants. One organization behind these efforts is none other than Ruth Sent Us.
They’ve since been banned from Twitter, as reported by Newsmax.
The End of Ruth Sent Us?
Ruth Sent Us made absolutely no bones about going after various people and entities it didn’t like with violence.
The group happily released the residence addresses of conservative Supreme Court justices on its website, in addition to promoting “burning the Eucharis” and much more.
Ruth Sent Us was able to get away with this type of behavior for weeks on end before finally getting the boot from Twitter.

Other tech sites have penalized Ruth Sent Us for its tactics as well. Google, for instance, took down the group’s website map listing the home addresses of conservative justices on the Supreme Court.
TikTok, on the other hand, temporarily suspended Ruth Sent Us from the platform before reinstating the account later.
General Criticism of the Group
Ruth Sent Us is named after the late Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg. However, critics of the group have stated Ginsburg wouldn’t be pleased with Ruth Sent Us’ intimidation tactics and condoning of violence.
Not only has Ruth Sent Us revealed the home addresses of the six conservative justices on the high court, but it’s also released the school name of Justice Amy Coney Barrett’s children.

This took a lot of heat, with people warning that putting this information out could endanger these children.
These warnings are not unfounded; just weeks ago, a man from California appeared outside the home of Justice Brett Kavanaugh with weapons, restraints, and the admitted intention to end Kavanaugh’s life.
In a nutshell, Ruth Sent Us believes the ends justify the means when it comes to pushing back on those who oppose abortion. It remains to be seen whether or not Twitter will keep the suspension active indefinitely or eventually let the group back onto the site as TikTok did.
