In Colorado Springs, Colorado, The Gateway Pundit disclosed an incident that occurred last week, wherein local law enforcement averted a potential tragedy at a middle school on March 31.
The alleged perpetrator, 19-year-old William Whitworth, who identifies as “Lilly” and prefers she/her pronouns, meticulously devised a sinister plot to plant explosives and open fire on students at Timberview Middle School in Colorado Springs.
Recent Nashville school shooting raises concerns of copycat attacks
The disturbing scheme was set to unfold on the same day as the arrest.
This chilling event transpired a mere week after another individual identifying as transgender brutally ended the lives of six individuals, among whom were three children, at a Christian school in Nashville, Tennessee.
Whitworth meticulously drafted a detailed floor plan of Timberview Middle School and, earlier that day, exhibited aggressive intentions towards his sister. Alarmed by his behavior, she contacted the authorities, who promptly arrived at their residence to address the situation.
Upon arrival, officers discovered Whitworth inebriated and lying in bed, amidst a cluttered room strewn with garbage and marred by numerous holes in the walls.
Following Whitworth’s admission of a desire to perpetrate a school shooting, the suspect was apprehended on suspicion of attempted first-degree murder, among other charges.
A thorough examination of Whitworth’s residence led to the discovery of a manifesto, which contained endorsements of political figures and admiration for previous mass shooters. The specifics of the document were not initially disclosed to the public.
